hey :)

Welcome to my blog!

It's basically just a dedication to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ the most caring, generous, intelligent, loving, forgiving, merciful, graceful, beautiful, powerful person I know and after all He's the reason I'm still here so the very least I can do is to try and make His name great!!

Feel free to ask any questions you might have :)

I take no credit whatsoever for any pics, none of them are mine unless stated otherwise!!!

Be blessed :)

This is the story of a girl: Think the bible is pro life? Think again.

Exodus 21:22-23
If an attack on a woman causes a miscarriage the attacker must pay a fine. If he causes serious damage to the mother it’s “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth”. This indicates that a fetus does not have equal standing under God’s law.

Leviticus 27:6

I think the bible is fucked up.

I have such a huge issue with people, Christians and Non-Christians, picking and choosing verses to try and prove a point, while completely taking it out of context.

“And if men strive together, and hurt a pregnant woman, so that her
fruit [children] come out, and yet no harm follows; the one who hit her shall surely be fined, according as the woman’s husband shall impose upon him; and he shall pay a fine as the judges determine. But if any harm follows, then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth …”

What, then, is the passage teaching? Simply this. If two fighting men injure a pregnant woman, causing her to give premature birth, yet no harm
follows – to either mother or child – a fine will be levied as a penalty for such carelessness. However, if any harm followed, to mother or babe, justice was to be meted out commensurate with degree of damage. Both the mother and unborn child had equal protection under the law.

Ultimately, if you’re not willing to do the work it takes to read into something, please don’t just repost it and agree with whatever they’re trying to say. Take time to learn about what is written, not just in the Bible, but anything controversial, laws, quotes people have said, other religious text - and stop depending on Tumblr or Facebook statuses to educate you.
